Shuttle America - Maintenance Records Clerk

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining aircraft flight hours and cycle utilization to a high degree of accuracy.
  • Daily data entry of work order packages in the Maintenance computer system including update accomplishment of inspections and maintenance functions.
  • Ensures accurate and up-to-date information is maintained regarding the time status of all airframes, components, accessories, appliances and others that may be required.
  • Ensures all aircraft flight logs are accounted for, maintained and distributed to the appropriate departments.
  • Maintains component airworthiness certification documents in accordance with Shuttle America’s standards and FAA regulations.
  • Review and file the aircraft work packages on a daily basis.
  • Prepares aircraft records for permanent archival system.
  • Maintain and update all manufacturers’ manuals, Service Bulletins, Service Letters, company manuals and ensure copies are distributed to the appropriate departments.
  • Maintain a control log of all company and manufacturers manuals by department and their updated revision status.
  • Effectively coordinate with the FAA as needed to maintain the integrity of the maintenance records department.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to type and use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed to meet demands of job, including a working knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Able to read documents, follow instructions, learn and understand office procedures.
  • Must be able to perform mathematical computations.
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills.
  • Position requires weekend and some holiday work.
  • Must work under time constraints to accomplish assignments and projects.
  • Ability to work well with others as part of a team, and work well under stressful situations.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate verbally.
