Hartford, CT—(For Immediate Release) Shuttle Americas flights from Hanscom Airfield will resume today at 8:40 AM when flight #601 takes off from the Bedford, MA facility bound for Trenton Mercer Airport.

"We are delighted to be back in business," said Mark Cestari, vice-president at Shuttle America, "and thank our loyal customers for their patience in coping with the travel inconvenience caused by the recent terrorist tragedies."

"Shuttle America will resume its full regular schedule effective this afternoon after the re-opening of Trenton/Mercer,  Boston/Hanscom and Buffalo/Niagara Falls Airport and the earlier authorization of the national Air Traffic Control System.  We appreciate the excellent and prompt efforts of  MASSPORT/Hanscom Field  Authorities, The Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Federal Aviation  Administration officials for their assistance," Cestari said.

Passengers holding reservations on flights cancelled due to the terrorist tragedy will be re-accommodated on to other Shuttle America flight with no surcharges and should call 1-888-999-F-A-R-E(3273)
